STANDARDS
EUROPEAN MASTERS OF LINEN CERTIFICATION
This independent certification verifies that linen has been sustainably produced and manufactured entirely in Europe, tracking each step—from the flax fields through spinning the yarn and weaving the fabric. It ensures that the entire process is environmentally responsible, fully sustainable, and free from irrigation, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and wasteful practices.
STANDARDS
FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL FSC CERTIFIED
When referring to yarns, fabrics, and textiles, the term “organic” describes fibers cultivated and processed according to strict guidelines, completely avoiding synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides, and genetically engineered plants. This ensures the fibers are sustainably grown and environmentally responsible, promoting safer practices for producers and consumers alike.
STANDARDS
GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD (GOTS)
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized globally as the premier certification for textiles made from organic fibers, addressing both environmental and social responsibilities. GOTS certification involves thorough, independent verification throughout every step of textile production, including processing, manufacturing, labeling, packaging, trading, and distribution. To achieve GOTS certification, textiles must contain a minimum of 70% organically produced natural fibers.
STANDARDS
MPS CERTIFIED
MPS (More Profitable Sustainability) specializes in creating and overseeing sustainability certifications specifically designed for the global flower and ornamental plant industry. Certification processes are handled by its sister organization, MPS-ECAS. Among its certifications, the MPS-ABC standard is internationally acknowledged as a leading sustainability benchmark.
Participating companies are required to document their usage of fertilizers, crop protection products, energy, and water every four weeks. After compiling a full year’s data and undergoing an official audit, companies are awarded sustainability qualifications ranging from MPS A+ (highest) down through MPS-A, MPS-B, and MPS-C.
STANDARDS
OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a globally recognized, independent certification and testing system designed for textiles at every stage—from raw fibers and semi-finished goods to finished products. The Oeko-Tex certification assures consumers that the fabrics have undergone rigorous testing and are confirmed to be free from harmful substances, ensuring safety for human use.
