The Rancho Arroyo Shale is one of those covers that stops people in their tracks. The jacquard pattern — ivory, shale, navy, and aqua — has a depth and complexity that photographs beautifully but genuinely has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
This is a reversible fabric, which means you get two distinct looks from one cover: the standard front leads with the shale and aqua tones; the inverse flips the palette for a cooler, more ivory-forward feel. Photos show both — choose the version that works best in your space.
Each cover is backed with solid cream Pendleton® wool and finished with a YKK metal zipper and custom leather pull. Cut and sewn to order in our Ridgefield, WA studio with triple-stitched seams.

A Note on Pattern Placement
Every cover is cut with care to ensure balanced, intentional pattern placement — no two are exactly alike, and each one is worth it.
Sizing + Pillow Inserts
- Inserts not included — size up 1–2" for a full, plush look
- 12x18 cover → use a 13x19 insert
- 18x18 cover → use a 20x20 insert
- 20x20 cover → use a 22x22 insert
Care
- Dry clean or spot clean recommended to maintain softness, color, and shape

The aqua and shale tones play beautifully with moss and olive greens, and ground well with solid neutrals. Anchor this cover with the Charcoal Gray Washable Wool or the Heathered Camel for a layered, collected look that lets the pattern do the talking.
